Together against cancer: How multidisciplinary tumor boards improve cancer care in Switzerland

Every year, almost 2’800 men and 2’100 women in Switzerland are diagnosed with lung cancer. An individually tailored treatment plan is crucial for patients. To ensure this, doctors and specialists from various disciplines work together in so-called multidisciplinary tumor boards (MDTs).
